Taking stock eight months after the launch of this website, we see an uptake in the support tools provided, but a long way ahead for the digitalisation of the construction sector.

Language barriers are often mentioned as a challenge in the construction sector. This relates both, to the actual work as people from several countries might be working on one construction site, as well as to EU level support measures as information often is only available in English.

A new technical study for the development and implementation of digital building logbooks aims to address the issue of collecting, storing, sharing and updating information in the construction sector and cover technical, economic and regulatory agreements.
